I wanted my abstract piece to circle around my depression. I used water color for the grey in the background and then used a thick micron pen to make the lines. My artwork is actually inspired by Jackson Pollock but more confined. I wanted people to understand that it is okay to feel more different than everyone else. I learned that there can be a lot of mistakes when it comes to making art but you just have to push through it and keep going.

I wanted my project to be different and to angle around photography. My real world problem was fashion photography. There are so many "rules" or "standards" for models. I wanted to show that you don't need standards or rules to be a model. All these girls are different in many ways. They don't care!! They all love themselves and express themselves the way they want.

In my story telling piece I wanted to show how I coped with my parents fighting all the time. I wanted to show that there is light at the end of the tunnel. I wanted to let others know that they're not alone. I learned that I am growing as a person with showing each piece that I do with my depression and anxiety.

For my activism project I chose the topic education for all. I am a firm believer in free education no matter where you go to school. I don't think we should have to pay thousands upon thousands of dollars to go to college to study what we want to for the rest of our lives. There are so many people that can't pay for college and want to be a teacher or a doctor or a business person. Education shouldn't just be for people that are wealthy and have money.
